# Worklyn — connect your AI to your companion

Worklyn gives any MCP-capable AI client a companion that knows its user's
work line. One remote MCP server, OAuth 2.1, four tools.

## Connect Claude

1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app) and go to Settings → Connectors.
2. Choose "Add custom connector", name it Worklyn, and paste https://worklyn.me/mcp as the URL.
3. Claude opens a Worklyn sign-in and consent screen in your browser — approve it.
4. Done. Claude now has your companion's four tools: set, search, execute, web_search.

## Connect ChatGPT

1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors (connector creation requires a plan that includes it, with developer mode enabled).
2. Create a new connector with the MCP server URL https://worklyn.me/mcp and OAuth authentication.
3. ChatGPT opens a Worklyn sign-in and consent screen in your browser — approve it.
4. Done. ChatGPT now has your companion's four tools: set, search, execute, web_search.

## Connect any MCP client

1. Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://worklyn.me/mcp.
2. The client discovers OAuth automatically and opens a Worklyn sign-in and consent screen in your browser — approve it.
3. Done. The client gets four tools: set, search, execute, web_search.

## The four tools

- learn — Write one item to your user's brain — or, with `teach`, to an operator's personality instead.
- remember — Read the brain, and mint every link.
- errand — Send an errand out to be done: spin up an AI agent in a sandboxed environment, generate an image, or write a short story.
- web_search — Search the live web via Atlas's native search (Obscura + DuckDuckGo) for a SINGLE factual lookup that one query can answer — news, prices, public facts, definitions, product info, or a quick "what is / who is / when is" the user wants answered right now.
